Home charging
A home charge point is the cheapest and most convenient way to charge, and it costs less again when it runs on your own solar power. A typical home charger delivers around 7 kW, which adds a good range overnight. Chargers sold for home use in Great Britain have to be smart, which means they can schedule charging for cheaper off-peak times.
Charging from your own solar
Many chargers can match charging to your solar output so more of the power comes from your roof. If you already have panels, or you are planning them, fit both together and we will size the system for the car as well as the house.
Do you have off-street parking?
A home charger needs a safe place to park close to the property. If you park on the street, a home charger is usually not possible, and we will say so rather than sell you something that will not work. Tell us about your parking and where your consumer unit is, and we will advise.
Workplace and business charging

Installed properly
EV charger installation is electrical work, and it has to meet UK wiring regulations (BS 7671). We check your supply, the cable route and your consumer unit before we quote, so the price is clear.
